Kiev is the city where the modern and the ancient make excellent opportunities for cultural and aesthetical exploration. Nevertheless, before you become a visitor to this mythical city, take your time to figure out at least two questions: where you will spend your nights and how you are going to get around the place.

If you are looking for an opportunity to save some buck, you might want to rent an apartment. For the cost of a modest hotel room in the price range of $90-150 you could rent a luxury flat in the downtown. Inexpensive one-room flats can be rent for less than $50. Some owners that give for rent this kind of Kyiv apartments may even meet you at the airport. The rule of thumb of here is to book the apartment at least a couple of days in advance.
